COSBI | Foundation The Microsoft Research – University of Trento Centre for Computational and Systems Biology
Founded in 2005 COSBI (acronym for Computational and Systems Biology) is a non-profit foundation, whose shares are held 50 % by Microsoft Research and 50% by the University of Trento.
Energy
Energy ltd. started in 2013 as an innovative startup within Progetto Manifattura and has rapidly developed to become an SME in advanced sectors such as photovoltaic storage systems and graphene-based innovative materials.
It is currently the second Italian operator for storage systems. In 2016, a startup was opened in Silicon Valley and in 2017 in New Delhi. Recently, Energy has made the dimensional leap into larger accumulation systems: from residential to industrial to microgrid.
Enyr
Develops customized software solutions for information management in the Smart Grid field, for large / medium-sized utility subjects. All services and products are based on the SGAM model (Smart Grid Architecture Model), in particular on the IEC 61850 standard for the information model for the Power Exchange. The company is an active part in international technical standards committees (WG IEC).

It is an innovative SME that is developing a new hydrogen battery aimed at the stationary renewable energy storage market. Based on patents filed in 2021, this innovative solution offers not only advanced performance, but is even greener, safer and cheaper than previous technology and competing technologies.

Starting from a census, or capillary energetic diagnosis, the company develops an ad hoc design of urban regeneration using local professionals and businesses, also created ex-novo in the territory.

Media System Lab
The company was founded in 1998 with an electronic microscopy project which is initially supported by the IT, hardware, software and assistance business. Subsequently, the interest shifts towards scientific instruments. The offer continues to expand to provide everything necessary to fill an electronic microscopy laboratory, from room preparation, to the electronic microscope to the aluminum stub.
Moncada Energy Group
To date, the group represents one of the leading Italian players in the production of energy from renewable sources, with particular reference to photovoltaic and wind power, with a power installed in wind turbines of 195 MW and in photovoltaic plants of 40 MW. Specifically, MRinnovabili plays the role of parent company and deals with the direct management of its assets as well as with services common to subsidiaries such as accounting, remote control, etc.
STOREH Energy Storage Technologies
It is an innovative startup that offers a system of energy storage and on-demand production of hydrogen. HOD, Hydrogen On Demand, solves the problem of intermittency and non-programmability of renewable sources by making seasonal energy storage possible. The system was designed and built starting from the needs of the industrial and domestic sectors: lower cost than current market solutions, scalability thanks to the complete independence of power and capacity, safety as there is no gas under pressure, sustainability thanks to the use of materials extremely widespread and recyclable.
